Us V6 owners pay for our cars the same way you do. What I see as clear and stupid-proof demand, you see as bitching.fair enough to each their own, but just consider that maybe you aren't the only person that wants to make their car go faster or operate more efficiently. It's business, not personal.Īll due respect, it is so easy for you to say seeing as how all your rides could be tuned. Just like Mike(l) said, tuning the Jeep was easier and they are more likely to tune. They are more likely to upgrade and even tune than V6 guys. Probably why Diablo caters to those people. Everytime I've gone to the track, I'd always see SRT8's, even a few 5.7 R/T's. Even sold a few 3.5/2.7 parts to you guys, but none ever came back with track results. I've hardly, if ever, saw a LX or LC V6 go down the track. Smackdownsrt wrote:When I had my Jeep SRT8 for 3 years, and the 1+ year I've had the V, I went to the track a lot Englishtown, Atco, Cecil. But I won't be bitching to Diablosport about making a tune for it. Maybe in the distant future, after I'm done with 10s, I'll settle down for a 200-300 HP car. Now I'm even considering trading in the V in for a car that can do low 11s, maybe break 10s since I have the Big 3 race tracks in my backyard. And compliments of the Diablosport canned tune, got it to break 11s, mid 11s. Same reason why I traded in my 425 HP Jeep, just couldn't do it. ![]() Last time was the GTP, and you can image how long ago that was considering Pontiac is gone. Right now, I'm pushing a 650 HP V from 550 HP stock. When I had my Jeep SRT8 for 3 years, and the 1+ year I've had the V, I went to the track a lot Englishtown, Atco, Cecil. No one is here to argue with, or be belittled by a man-child. Mike, if you are going to freelance about on here then drop the bias, be a real, help gear head, leave the arrogance away from the vicinity of your keyboard. I personally was sold on the fact that the V6's had oil jets to cool the cylinders, something the Hemis lacked, and like SXT said, I too have own V8's and also a turbo-4 Audi, so again I ask what's your point? Nothing against Diablo, but when is it a companies right, in which whose capital comes from the development of a product yet biased of what and when they put (something) out with there liability being time? I noticed this when they assumed and stated that more people would purchase/upgrade the 5.7/6.4's thus being why they researched and release that tuned first with disregard to the other trims.assumptions. ![]() ![]() One of the few daily driven 11 second Challenges in America is a LX V6? So what is your point. Do you know how large the market is for a 3.6 Pentastar tuner for the LX/LC models is? Doubtful, and believe my money is where my mouth is due to the fact I have over 17k in my 2012 Chally that awaits a tune. You have alot of knowledge, I'll give you that, yet you eclipse said knowledge with immense arrogance and alpha-male esque psycho babble. Mike, you female daily driver comment reeked of immaturity and ignorance. So troll me some more if it makes you feel better. I have had plenty of V8's over the years and have a Hemi powered Desoto in the garage. ![]() I was simply voicing how anxious the V6 crowd on the Challenger forums are to be able to tune our vehicles and reap the benefits of DiabloSports hard work. My comment was also about my surprise that Jeep V6's got tuned before Charger/Challenger/300 V6 cars were. I was happy to provide you with links to show you V6 Challengers at the track so as to "enlighten" your view since it was a new concept for you. All the vids you posted are for V8 Jeep products which the point of focus of my comments were NOT about. What you seemed to have missed is that this thread was posted about Dodge V-6 tuners. I agree with you 100% that SRT8 Jeeps are damn quick, or for that matter CJ's that have sweet running V8's too. Thanks! I enjoy watching "run what you brung" track vids.
